When I saw these little heart escort cards, I fell in love. The different shades of blue and the little 3D pops these would add to the reception tables are amazing. I also like the off-center, handwritten names in bright white. Such a great do it yourself element to add to a summer reception. Really want to use these at your reception? Create a few in pink or red to break up this sea of blue. Maybe use the red hearts to put the table number so it stands out for your guests. Or make each table a different color and then line them up alphabetically to get a natural, beautiful mix on the table.

Just limit these to indoor receptions; otherwise these little paper heart pops will float away – which would be gorgeous but not very helpful defining seating assignments!

Well it didn’t take long for another Modern Girl customer to inspire me!  A lovely bride-to-be emailed a request to see the modern paisley wedding invitation in teal, cholocate brown, and orange last night.  First of all, i love this design, and second of all, this color combination is totally funky, yet classic at the same time.  Love it and can’t wait to see it in print.
