You have so many options with weddings today. You can have quite literally anything you want, as long as you can afford it. This allows every wedding to be so different – there are hardly any standards anymore. But in my mind there are two wedding must-haves, no matter your style: lace and champagne. They’re both classic, girly and the epitome of celebration. You don’t have to make lace part of the central elements but a touch here and there can add elegance. And I know that in real life, Tess’s dress wasn’t actually pieces of her mother’s old wedding dress (it was designed and mass produced by Amsale) but I love the idea of incorporating your mother’s dress into the details of yours.
