I cannot resist a good wedding tablescape. I think my wedding detail rankings might go dress, location, couture tablescape, husband. My ranking system could possibly explain why that fourth detail is currently non-existant. Details.

These couture tablescapes by Sandra Downie Event Designs are stunning. She shows a sample ranging from bold and modern colors to classic layouts to shabby chic touches and I love them all. Decorating such a large event always comes down to the details. They may seem like the last thing you need to worry about but they’re also what turn a basic wedding venue into your own space. And Sandra seems to have figured out exactly how to do just that.

And she’s located right here in New England with me - must be a sign that she should plan my next birthday party. A touch over the top and flawlessly styled - sound right up my alley.

Those orange escort cards deserve the perfect reception setting and I think I’ve found just the one. This orange and white tent is fun yet refined – the perfect balance. Plus you know I love a good paper lantern, especially in bright color and especially in clusters of the same hue. These tables include the actual fruits and extend that pattern in the paper lanterns, also both orange and circular.

I also like the family-style reception tables. They give your wedding a more laidback, comfortable style. All around perfect for this week’s orange wedding.

When planning an outdoor forest wedding, it’s important to combine your green color palette with the natural textures and elements from your ‘great outdoors’ venue. I also just love that melding of feminine and masculine. The rugged outdoor setting adds so many masculine details that you can easily insert feminine details without seeming like a girly wedding.

It’s all about balance. But I’d consider this overly feminine aisle because, I mean who wouldn’t.

I have a craving to travel southbound this week and what better way to get it out of my system than by picking the perfect southern, summer wedding details? And a Georgia Peach wedding theme is too adorable to resist. Now you don’t have to create an entirely peach colored wedding, but incorporating the locally grown fruits in few elements could really enhance your destination theme. For example, use the fruits as decoration at your wedding reception.

Simple placing them in water-filled glass jars is such a modern centerpiece, and they look great on those cocktail tables.

Or choose a more classic, southern layout and combine your peaches – either in a bowl or loosely – with flowers and table numbers.
