Since it is nearly July (already!) most beach brides have already planned their weddings and the major pieces should be all set. But if you are looking for a few last minute details to make your wedding extra special, I have a couple of cute Etsy finds. And who can resist online shopping for a few last minutes touches? I know that I (and my credit card) definitely can’t.

Large headpieces with touches of sparkle are my basic default choice. I love them all. You just can’t go wrong with them whether it be a headband, hair clip or even some fabulously big earrings. (And don’t even get me started on statement necklaces…)

Beach themed weddings are usually more laid back – it’s just the nature of the setting. This can allow you the opportunity to have a little more fun with the reception details. My Wedding Favors recommends using them as a gift for guests, but purchasing just a few for the reception tables is a great way to extend your beach theme.

Can you have an entire wedding themed on feathers? Take a moment to picture this with me before the skepticism sets in. This notion began based on this fabulous chandelier that I just have to have (by Haldane Martin, a South African designer).

And large feather headbands for the bridesmaids’ updos? Check. And to top it all off, imagine running to your honeymoon getaway car not showered by the traditional rice, but the much more eco-friendly, modern girl twist of feathers. Perfection.
