Return Policies

• We cannot guarantee that the color you see on your monitor will match the color of your printed invitations.  This is because every computer monitor is different so colors will appear slightly different from one monitor to the next.  If you are concerned about color, we recommend ordering a sample so that you can be sure that your invitation is the color you are expecting.  We cannot accept returns because the color you ordered does not match your monitor.
• It is your responsibility to check over the e-Proof we send you for spelling errors and mistakes.  Once you approve your e-Proof, spelling errors and other type mistakes are not the fault of Modern Girl Invitations.  If by chance you did miss something on the e-Proof, we are understanding and will work with you to have the mistake corrected at a reduced fee (usually around 50% of the total order cost but this cost may vary).
• Ink colors may vary slightly from the samples you may have received.  This is because we print your order specifically for you at the time of your order.  We try to match every print as closely as we can to our samples but sometimes there can be slight color variations that are usually minor and unnoticeable.  We cannot guarantee an absolute exact color match, but we always try our best to get as close of a match as possible.  We do guarantee our invitations against major color problems or defects, but unfortunately we cannot accept returns for slight color variations.
• Any custom item developed for you such as menus, labels, favor tags & custom enclosure cards, to name a few, are owned and licensed by Modern Girl Invitations LLC even though they were created for you.  You may purchase unlimited quantities of these items from us, but unfortunately we are not able to send you the design files.

• All returns require that the invitations, envelopes, and other products you received be returned to Modern Girl Invitations.  This is so that we can inspect the defect and make the appropriate corrections necessary for your order. 
• For returns in which Modern Girl Invitations was at fault, you will be reimbursed for your shipping costs.  Your replacement order will be printed with rush priority and will be sent out as soon as possible.  You will also be refunded 10% of the total cost of your purchase as our apology for any inconvenience. 
• For returns for any reason besides fault by Modern Girl Invitations (e.g. you change your mind after invitations have been sent out or you decide that you do not like the invitations), the invitations must be sent back to Modern Girl Invitations in order to process your return.  We cannot reimburse you for the return shipping costs, and your order will be subject to a 30% cancellation fee (we will refund 70% of your order total to you).  We cannot refund 100% because each invitation order is custom printed and it is very costly for us when an order is cancelled or returned after custom printing.
